Wikando Direct Debit: Activation process

Good to Know

Wikando Direct Debit allows your donors to donate easily via Direct Debit. The payment is automatically debited from their account to yours.

Requirements:

  • A Creditor Identifier (CID), obtainable from the Bundesbank (Germany) or your bank (Austria; Liechtenstein).
  • A bank account supporting the EBICS standard.

SEPA Settings

  1. Go to Account > SEPA Details.
  2. Enter your Creditor Identifier, organisation name, address, and IBAN.
  3. Adjust mandate settings as needed.
  4. Click Save.

Activation

  1. Go to Payment in your FundraisingBox.
  2. Find Wikando Direct Debit and click Book.
  3. Confirm by clicking Activate Wikando Direct Debit.
  4. Select your country and set transaction limits.
  5. Choose an individual payment reference.
  6. Optional: Restrict the payment method to certain countries.
  7. Click Save.

Participation Agreement

Once activated, you will receive an email with further steps. If your German bank supports Service Data Centre (Service-Rechenzentrum = SRZ), complete the attached PDF form and send it to your bank.If your German bank or bank outside of Germany requires the "EBICS User" connection, we will let you know in the e-mail you get with the activation.

Status Board

You can check the activation status under Payment > Wikando Direct Debit. Once your bank has confirmed the agreement and a test debit has been successful, you can use this payment method in your forms.

Payout

Wikando Direct Debit transfers collected donations to your bank account within a few working days. You can track transactions in your FundraisingBox, e.g. via Smart-Search.
